Secret Diary of a Call Girl: Episode 303 Preview

February 14th, 2010

Next up on the Showtime import Secret Diary of a Call Girl is the third episode of the third season airing on February 15.

Billie Piper/Secret Diary of a Call Girl

During the episode, the attraction between Belle and Duncan intensifies when she ends up at his office one night following an uncomfortable dinner engagement with Jackie and Ben.

Before then, however, Belle’s feelings for Duncan threaten to overtake her writing when she tries to write about her latest clients and what turns them on.

Meanwhile, Bambi can’t help but take Byron back to her apartment — despite her promise to Belle to remain on a professional level with him — when she’s assigned Byron as a client.

Two sneak peeks at the episode follow: Dinner (Jackie attempts to discuss Ben with Hannah) and He’s a Client (Belle and Bambi prepare for their next clients).

Secret Diary of a Call Girl airs Mondays on Showtime at 10pm ET.

Jason Alexander Directs ‘Til Death’

February 13th, 2010

Not only does Seinfeld alum Jason Alexander direct the first fresh ‘Til Death episode on February 14, but former Blossom star Mayim Bialik (pictured in the second photo below) guest stars on the second episode, along with returning players and real-life couple Kevin Nealon and Susan Yeagley.

Joely Fisher, Brad Garrett/'Til Death 4.12

First up at 7pm ET is Alexander’s masterpiece “Snore Loser,” featuring Season Three regular JB Smoove as the StarKs’ friend Kenny.

If the title caused you to guess that Eddie is the one with the snoring problem, then you are correct. However, his sleep apnea comes with a little twist: when treatment helps end the snoring, poor Joy suddenly realizes that the nighttime noise actually helped her sleep. What’s a wife to do now in the face of so much distracting silence?

Mayim Bialik/'Til Death 4.13

Next at 7:30pm is “The Break-Up,” featuring the return of spouses Nealon and Yeagley as seemingly perfect on-screen married couple Stephen and Simona.

That picture of perfection is about to seriously change after Stephen and Simona get into a huge fight that leads them to split up. Unfortunately, Eddie and Joy’s attempts to intervene and reunite the couple don’t produce the hoped-for results.

Meanwhile, the silly living-in-a-sitcom plot continues with Doug, who finally seeks professional help from a psychiatrist (Bialik), at his wife Ally’s insistence, to help restore his sanity. I can tell you now the first visit(s) probably won’t be the charm since Bialik reprises her role later in another episode.

‘Til Death airs Sundays on Fox at 7pm.

Modern Family: David Brenner Visits for ‘My Funky Valentine’

February 10th, 2010

Comedian David Brenner (where has he been?) appears as himself during the fresh February 10 episode of Modern Family called “My Funky Valentine.”

Modern Family

While Claire and Phil try out a new activity for Valentine’s Day…

… (role playing instead of just dinner out), Jay disappoints his wife Gloria with a mere visit to a comedy show, and Cameron and Mitchell help Manny on the romantic front.

Check out the Escalator preview for “My Funky Valentine” below, which shows why Claire and Phil should never ever role-play in public again. Too funny and sooo very embarrassing!

Tim Meadows Guest Stars on ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’

February 9th, 2010

The doctor is definitely in on the fresh February 10 episode of CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine called “A Family Unfair.”

Julia Louis-Dreyfus/The New Adventures of Old Christine

Even cooler for fans of sketch comedy television is the fact that the physician is played by Saturday Night Live veteran Tim Meadows.

His character Dr. Volk enters Old Christine’s hectic life after she grows jealous of her ex-husband Richard and New Christine’s impending new-baby status. Naturally, their good fortune causes her to want to have another child of her own, as well.

Preview “A Family Unfair” in the following promo clip.

Old Christine’s Wednesday-night companion Gary Unmarried follows at 8:30pm ET with a brand-new episode, too. Called “Gary Lowers the Bar,” it revolves around Gary’s ill-advised attempts to give Sasha a better Valentine’s Day gift than the fabulous present she gives him. Good luck with that, Gary!

Check out the promo for “Gary Lowers the Bar” below.

The New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried air Wednesdays on CBS at 8pm and 8:30pm ET, respectively.
