Cougar Town: Barry Bostwick Guest Stars on ‘When a Kid Goes Bad’

Spin City veteran Barry Bostwick drops by ABC’s Cougar Town for the new February 10 episode “When a Kid Goes Bad.”

Courteney Cox/Cougar Town

The actor plays the role of Roger, who just happens to be the father of Laurie’s friend Smith.

During the episode, Laurie meets Roger for the first time, Ellie and Grayson go at it over who’s top dog, Jules and Bobby butt heads over letting Travis attend a party where he’ll most likely guzzle lots of booze, and Jules is further disappointed when she plans to spend Valentine’s Day with Grayson and then learns he can’t stand the holiday.

A sneak peek for “When a Kid Goes Bad” called Cole Slaw follows, featuring Jules chatting with her son and ex, and also getting way too happy over junk food.

Cougar Town airs Wednesdays on ABC at 9:30pm ET.

At the center of the installment is a rift between Jules and her gal pal Ellie, all over…

That’s right, you guessed it — a man. The male in question is what they consider a “hot” young tennis instructor.

And while the ladies annoy each other relentlessly as they compete for his attention, Andy and Grayson join together to support Bobby as he tries to get over his ex-wife yet again.

Check out two sneak peeks for “All the Wrong Reasons” below: Lonely (poor Jules somehow gets the idea that she may remain all by her lonesome forever) and Tennis (Jules and Ellie get into it over tennis and that man).

ABC’s hit Courteney Cox sitcom Cougar Town returns on Wednesday, January 6, with its first fresh episode of the new year and the new decade.

Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow

Called “Rhino Skin,” the episode will function as a reunion of sorts since it features guest star Lisa Kudrow (pictured above at right), Cox’s former colleague on the long-running NBC sitcom Friends.

Kudrow plays Dr. Amy Evans, a scary-mean dermatologist who also happens to be one of the best doctors in her specialty. Jules and Ellie gather up every bit of courage they have in order to avail themselves of her spectacular services.

Cougar Town: ‘Mystery Man’ Preview

Felicity and The Unit fan favorite Scott Foley guest stars on Cougar Town’s new December 9 episode “Mystery Man.”

Courteney Cox/Cougar Town

Foley plays the title mystery man Jeff, a mega-rich potential romantic interest for Jules, who’s so eager to hook up with her that he pretends to be interested in buying one of the overpriced homes she’s trying to sell just to get her to notice him.

Elsewhere, Jules’ BFF Ellie sets out to prove she trusts her husband Andy by leaving their baby with him for an entire day. I smell trouble.

Preview “Mystery Man” in the following sneak peek, featuring crafty (and cheap) Jules going regifting.

Cougar Town airs Wednesdays on ABC at 9:30pm ET.

Next on ‘Cougar Town’: Here Comes My Girl

Jules welcomes lots of people to her home for Thanksgiving on the fresh November 25 episode of Cougar Town called “Here Comes My Girl.”

Courteney Cox/Cougar Town

And since viewers have already learned she hates being alone, you can guess that that suits Jules just fine.

While her ex-husband Bobby and neighbor Grayson discover an odd interest they share as they continue to deepen their friendship, Jules and her BFFs try to impress Travis’ girlfriend Kylie, and Jules somehow ends up delivering a monologue about birth control. I bet Travis is gonna love that.

Cougar Town: ‘Two Gunslingers’ Preview

Spin City veteran Alan Ruck and Notes from the Underbelly alumna Rachael Harris both guest star on the brand-new November 18 episode of Cougar Town called “Two Gunslingers.”

Courteney Cox/Cougar Town

The pair play married couple Shanna and Frank…

…whom Jules bumps into while out on a fun and wild weekend vacation with Ellie and Laurie. The only problems are (1) Shanna is Jules’ nemesis and (2) Ellie and Laurie didn’t want to come in the first place because they can’t stand each other.

CBS is serving up a whopping three sneak peeks for this episode, all included below. Jules isn’t too thrilled about the shared company hot tub in the first preview (I completely understand), Grayson asks Jules to include him in her Thanksgiving plans in the second clip, and Travis’ first time having sex is the subject of the third video.

Cougar Town: ‘A Woman in Love (It’s Not Me)’ Preview

“I love you” is not a good thing on “A Woman in Love (It’s Not Me),” the fresh October 28 episode of ABC’s Cougar Town.

Courteney Cox/Cougar Town

When Jules’ current significant other says those very same words to her, she realizes it’s time to be single again.

The problem is that Jules doesn’t know how to break up mess-free, so her gal pals Ellie and Laurie help her get the deed done. Also, Bobby, Grayson, and Andy do their competitive man thing during golf.

In the following advance look at the episode, Jules’ soon-to-be ex-boyfriend Josh gets a little too close for her comfort.
