Tim Meadows Guest Stars on ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’

The doctor is definitely in on the fresh February 10 episode of CBS’ The New Adventures of Old Christine called “A Family Unfair.”

Even cooler for fans of sketch comedy television is the fact that the physician is played by Saturday Night Live veteran Tim Meadows.

His character Dr. Volk enters Old Christine’s hectic life after she grows jealous of her ex-husband Richard and New Christine’s impending new-baby status. Naturally, their good fortune causes her to want to have another child of her own, as well.

Preview “A Family Unfair” in the following promo clip.

Old Christine’s Wednesday-night companion Gary Unmarried follows at 8:30pm ET with a brand-new episode, too. Called “Gary Lowers the Bar,” it revolves around Gary’s ill-advised attempts to give Sasha a better Valentine’s Day gift than the fabulous present she gives him. Good luck with that, Gary!

Check out the promo for “Gary Lowers the Bar” below.

The New Adventures of Old Christine and Gary Unmarried air Wednesdays on CBS at 8pm and 8:30pm ET, respectively.

Accidentally on Purpose | 8:30pm

Back to School: While Billie worries that she’s no match for Zack’s gorgeous ex when she barges in at his high school reunion, Abby and Olivia attempt to get people to buy some alleged “youth juice” that Abby is selling. The promo follows.

Aye, Aye, Captain: The huge Green-Eyed Monster constantly looking over Charlie’s shoulder threatens to sabotage his relationship with Chelsea. Check out the promo below.

The Big Bang Theory | 9:30pm

Next on ‘Two and a Half Men’: Crude and Uncalled For

Veteran television actor and The L Word alum Steven Eckholdt guest stars on “Crude and Uncalled For,” the fresh February 1 episode of CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men.

Charlie Sheen, Angus T. Jones, Jon Cryer/Two and a Half Men

He plays Brad, Alan’s lawyer, whose help is desperately needed…

…After Alan gets into a fight at a bar (yes, a bar fight!!!) and ends up in jail. Worse — for Charlie, at least — it seems Chelsea might have a thing for the attorney.

Check out the quickie promo for “Crude and Uncalled For” below. Shocker! As the clip clearly shows, Alan is actually the one who delivers the first blow during the public brawl. Wonders never cease.

Two and a Half Men airs Mondays on CBS at 9pm ET.

Next on ‘Accidentally on Purpose’: Attack of the 50 Foot Woman

Unfortunately for viewers, there isn’t an actual ginormous female on the brand-new February 1 episode of Accidentally on Purpose called “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.”

Jenna Elfman/Accidentally on Purpose

Instead we have the same old familiar Billie, who’s behaving extra manipulatively, but for a very good cause.

Tired of coming across like a constant nagger, she decides to find other, more subtle ways to get Zack to do what she wants, such as helping out with chores around her apartment.

Meanwhile, dependably ridiculous Davis pursues and lands a job working at a gay bar to fatten up his wallet a bit.

CBS doesn’t have a promo or sneak peek for “Attack of the 50 Foot Woman” to get us all excited for the episode, but you can take a look at a six-minute clip below featuring Accidentally on Purpose regulars Jon Foster (Zack) and Nicolas Wright (Davis) interviewing series set decorator Eric Hill for the premiere of their so-called lunchtime talk show.

Accidentally on Purpose airs Mondays on CBS at 8:30pm ET.

The Big Bang Theory: ‘The Einstein Approximation’ Preview

Aaah! A new month, a new episode of CBS’ hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Coming up on February 1 is the Sheldon-centric “The Einstein Approximation.”

The Big Bang Theory

And I bet Penny is going to be thrilled during the action, too.

Why? Because when Sheldon gets it into his head that he absolutely must solve a certain physics problem, his strategy for achieving that goal involves him becoming Penny’s colleague at her long-time Cheesecake Factory job. If he scores a waiter gig, I feel sooo sorry for the diners at his tables.

Take a look at both a sneak peek and a promo for “The Einstein Approximation” below.

The Big Bang Theory airs Mondays on CBS at 9:30pm ET.

How I Met Your Mother: ‘The Perfect Week’ Preview

New York Yankee Nick Swisher and CBS sportscaster Jim Nantz drop by How I Met Your Mother to play themselves during the brand-new February 1 episode “The Perfect Week.”

How I Met Your Mother

The title refers to lucky Barney, who’s having a fantabulous week thanks to his skills almost hooking up with seven women in seven days.

And since the rest of the gang isn’t experiencing the same good fortune — they’re actually going through a lousy period — Barney’s pals step up and cheer him on as he nears the score that will make his week absolutely, unforgettably perfect.

CBS has both a promo and a sneak peek for “The Perfect Week,” which you can check out below.

How I Met Your Mother airs Mondays on CBS at 8pm ET.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus/The New Adventures of Old Christine

The actors play Christine’s ex-significant other Mr. Harris and her therapist and current significant other Max, respectively.

Poor Christine is thrown for a loop when Mr. Harris reappears in her life, just as she’s beginning to fall in love with Max. Oops!

Preview “Truth or Dare” briefly in the promo clip below.

Gary Unmarried also has a fresh episode coming up on January 20 called “Gary Has to Choose.” The choice the title refers to concerns whether Gary thinks it’s worth risking his career to remain in a romantic relationship with his boss Sasha.

The quickie promo for “Gary Has to Choose” follows.

In addition to Neil Patrick Harris‘ directorial debut with the new January 18 episode of How I Met Your Mother, CBS’ remaining three Monday-night sitcoms will present new episodes, too.

Jenna Elfman/Accidentally on Purpose

And featured on Accidentally on Purpose and Two and a Half Men are guest stars Michael Rapaport (My Name is Earl) and Stacy Keach (Titus), respectively.

Continue reading for details and preview clips.

Accidentally on Purpose | 8:30pm

The Rock: Rapaport, who just happens to be the brother of the comedy’s executive producer Claudia Lonow, reprises his role as sports writer Sully. When Billie collaborates with Sully on an article, she learns some interesting news about their newspaper. Also, Zack and Davis decide to start a business that focuses on sandwiches. The promo for “The Rock” follows.

Yay, No Polyps!: Prison Break alum Keach drops by TV’s most popular sitcom to play Chelsea’s father Tom. The promo for “Yay, No Polyps!” follows.

The Big Bang Theory | 9:30pm

Neil Patrick Harris Directs Next ‘How I Met Your Mother’

How I Met Your Mother fans are in for a real treat during the January 18 episode “Jenkins,” which happens to be directed by none other than series star Neil Patrick Harris, who’s making his directorial debut with the installment.

How I Met Your Mother

Also of note is guest star Amanda Peet (The X Files: I Want to Believe, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) as the title character Jenkins.

While Robin deals with the discovery that she has inspired a drinking game that’s all about her, Marshall copes with Lily’s refusal to believe that his pretty coworker Jenkins kissed him. So, I wonder just how far Marshall will have to go to prove to his wife that what he says happened actually happened.

Take a look at the “Jenkins” promo below, and you can also learn more about Harris’ experiences as a first-time director in his recent TV Guide Magazine interview. It’s a good read.

How I Met Your Mother airs Mondays on CBS at 8pm ET.

Next on ‘The Big Bang Theory’: The Psychic Vortex

Wonder Years alumna Danica McKellar guest stars on the new year’s first fresh episode of The Big Bang Theory, January 11th’s “The Psychic Vortex.”

The Big Bang Theory

McKellar stops by to portray Abby, a potential romantic interest for adorable yet woman-shy Koothrappali. I hope he gets really lucky.

Apparently, Koothrappali encounters lovely Abby when he and Sheldon go to a university social gathering. Elsewhere, poor Leonard becomes irked when he learns that Penny is partial to psychics, which doesn’t surprise me in the least on both counts.

Sneak a really quick peek at “The Psychic Vortex” in the following promo clip, and tune in later at 9:30pm ET to catch the full episode.

The Big Bang Theory airs Mondays on CBS at 9:30pm ET.
